Salary Range: $45-$55hr plus Benefits @90 Days (healthcare/401k)

Work: 40hrs a week

Shift work in a 24x7 NOC environment

Our client a Major Utility is looking for a Network Administrator


You would be Required to monitor, triage, and resolve/escalate issues with enterprise Cisco networks, proprietary Utility networks, coordinate telecom issues with vendors and support staff, and perform Major Incident escalations – Network Operations Center


  • Cisco yrs exp = at least 4-5 yrs min
  • Prior exp in Network Ops a plus, telecommunications (at least 4-5 yrs)
  • Total yrs PROVEN exp in this environment: 4-5 yrs+++
  • Yrs exp: – min 4-5 exp
  • Full Time Perm Potential
  • Cisco Network exp is a plus+++
  • CCNA Cert – minimum requirement, or any other entry level related CCNA Cert.
  • MUST be local to Owings Mills = no exceptions
  • direct work schedule options (hybrid) will be communicated to candidates directly by management if invited to interview



Job Description:

A Network Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining an organization's computer networks. They ensure that networks are operating efficiently, securely, and in compliance with company policies and regulations.


Responsibilities may include:

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software.
  • Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues.
  • Configuring and managing network security measures, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  • Implementing and managing network policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with other IT staff to ensure network connectivity and availability.
  • Conducting regular network assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
  • Providing technical support to end-users and other IT staff.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in networking.
  • Managing network documentation and inventory.
  • Participating in projects to upgrade or expand network infrastructure.


Position Requirements:


  • Required to perform shift work in a 24x7 NOC environment
  • Shift is overnight: 9pm - 7am Sat – Tue
  • Required to monitor, triage, and resolve/escalate issues with enterprise Cisco networks, proprietary Utility networks, coordinate telecom issues with vendors and support staff, and perform Major Incident escalations.
