Job Overvie

wWe are seeking an experienced VMware & Network Systems Administrator to support and maintain enterprise infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in VMware administration, network systems administration, server management, and infrastructure lifecycle management

.This role is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, optimization, and maintenance of critical network and virtualization infrastructure supporting agency-wide operations. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with technical teams and stakeholders while also demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

.Key Responsibilities

• :Design, implement, administer, and maintain enterprise VMware and networking environments
• .Manage VMware technologies including vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), and Log Insight
• .Administer and support physical and virtual server infrastructure
• .Maintain Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and Linux-based systems
• .Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization
• .Manage patching, upgrades, security updates, and infrastructure lifecycle planning
• .Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related infrastructure services
• .Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives
• .Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and virtualization issues
• .Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system configurations
• .Participate in infrastructure projects and ensure timely completion of deliverables
• .Collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors
• .Provide after-hours support for critical system and infrastructure issues as required

.Required Qualification

• sMinimum 5 years of experience in VMware Administration
• .Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Systems Administration
• .Hands-on experience with VMware products including vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), Log Insight
• .Experience administering physical and virtual server environments
• .Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, and Linux appliances
• .Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining complex enterprise infrastructure systems
• .Experience with system optimization, patch management, and lifecycle management
• .Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP administration
• .Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
• .Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• .Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• .Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• .Ability to respond to critical infrastructure incidents outside normal business hours when required

.Preferred Qualification

• sExperience working in government, public sector, or highly regulated environments
• .VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP, or equivalent)
• .Experience with enterprise monitoring and infrastructure automation tools
• .Knowledge of security best practices and infrastructure hardening
