MEP Specialist 3

We are seeking a Lead Electrical Superintendent with exceptional computer skills and experience in the electrical field, specifically related to Data Centers. The role involves working with Switchgears and UPS systems and requires travel between project locations in Dallas, Atlanta GA, Northern VA, Mississippi, and Chicago.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly understand project schedules and overall scope.
• Assist in maintaining the project schedule daily using Touch plan.
• Collaborate with the Project Scheduler and Project Manager to develop progress schedules, such as two-week look-ahead schedules.
• Prepare and distribute daily logs on Procore.
• Coordinate and schedule necessary inspections.
• Prepare agendas for regular construction meetings.
• Enforce site safety, security, and visitor access protocols.
• Ensure quality and workmanship of finished products.
• Develop and maintain a Site Utilization plan.
• Maintain phone logs.
• Prepare pre-punch list items.
• Work with the Project Site Engineer to load all pertinent project information on Procore.
• Provide site safety training and enforce safety compliance on the project site.
• Conduct weekly tool talks.
• Secure any required hot work permits for the project.

• Experience with Data Centers.
• Proven ability in leading teams.
• Very strong computer skills.
• Electrical construction expertise.
• Project management capabilities.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in commercial construction.
• Proficiency with Procore.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Mechanical and substation expertise.
• Blueprint reading abilities.
• Subcontractor management experience.

• Preferred electrical background.
• Experience as a site supervisor or in a management role.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret schedules.
• Strong communication skills.
• Beneficial data center background.
• Helpful willingness to travel.
• Strong safety attitude.
• 7-10 years of experience.

This position requires on-site work in Northern VA, Dallas TX, Atlanta GA, Las Vegas, Chicago, and Mississippi, with an expectation of travel between these locations. Benefits include a 401k plan, two weeks of PTO, dental, vision, and medical insurance, a $60 cell phone reimbursement, and 10 paid holidays. Additionally, travel expenses, including hotel accommodations, will be covered.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Athens, GA.

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $135000.00/hr.
