Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Digital Delivery Lead / BIM Manager to guide our Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists. This role involves managing digital model environments and deliverables at the project level, ensuring a seamless interaction among all disciplines and the production of construction documents. You will work closely with Project Managers to generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and oversee project initiation procedures, including server infrastructure and digital deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction for Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists.
  • Manage digital model environments and deliverables at the project level.
  • Assist in generating and maintaining the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project initiation procedures.
  • Execute digital deliverables and support production teams throughout project lifecycles.
  • Provide technical support and communicate deliverable schedules to project teams.
  • Monitor model health and coordination processes from planning through construction document issuance.
  • Mentor team members and oversee the development and maintenance of the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP).
  • Establish and maintain document management systems and server infrastructure for multi-discipline projects.
  • Ensure the team has necessary software, versions, access, and training.
  • Generate and maintain model setups to meet project requirements.
  • Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings to ensure quality control through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination.
  • Communicate, coordinate, and compile project digital deliverables at predetermined milestones.
  • Archive projects at submittals and closeout.
  • Engage in communication and presentations with management, production staff, and clients.
  • Mentor staff to develop their skills and provide guidance for Project Managers.
  • Engage with other Digital Delivery Leads to provide support and guidance.

Essential Skills

  • Advanced understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and 3D Design.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and structural, MEP coordination.
  • Technical degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in digital design and 5 years in digital delivery.
  • Comprehensive understanding of discipline relations and building systems.
  • Advanced skills in 3D design software and document management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, practices, and discipline codes.
  • Familiarity with automation and programming applications.
  • Superior client service, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with 3D design software add-ins and supporting applications.
  • Experience in content creation and management.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and leadership traits.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize technical support requests and project work.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, with an excellent work ethic.
  • US citizenship required due to client contract requirements.

Work Environment

This role requires working in an office environment 3 to 5 days a week, with a flexible 3 & 2 schedule based on project needs. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $70.00/hr.
