As a Parish Manager and key member of the Regional Medicaid Management Team, you’ll oversee the delivery of more than 30 vital Medicaid programs—ensuring services are accurate, timely, and accessible to those who depend on them. Seven years of social services experience; OR

Six years of full-time experience in any field plus four years of social services experience; OR

A bachelor's degree plus four years of social services experience; OR

An advanced degree plus three years of social services experience.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here.Job Duties:

· Establishes operational standards, develops procedures, and monitors workflows to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality Medicaid service delivery

· Plans, prioritizes, and adjusts staff workloads and schedules to respond to changing demands, legislation, and regional coordination needs

· Sets performance and production benchmarks, monitors compliance, and removes barriers to improve staff efficiency and productivity

· Ensures adherence to agency policies, federal regulations, and court mandates, including timely processing of applications and redeterminations and proper handling of grievances and hearings

· Oversees office operations, including budget planning, resource allocation, equipment functionality, and support services necessary for effective service delivery

· Leads recruitment, hiring, and personnel management activities in compliance with Civil Service Rules and applicable laws, while optimizing staff allocation and utilization

· Directs, coaches, and evaluates staff performance through goal setting, training, performance reviews, and team development initiatives to drive accountability and results
