We are seeking aMaster Technicianwith advancedexpertisein troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of complex electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The ideal candidate willpossessstrong problem-solving skills, work independently with minimal supervision, and support engineering and operations teams inmaintaining, installing, andoptimizingproduction equipment.

What You Will Do

  • Troubleshoot, repair, andmaintaincomplex production equipment, machinery, and instruments to ensure reliable functionality and compliance with safety and process standards.

  • Measure, analyze, and calibrate instrumentation and equipment for setup and check-out.

  • Read, interpret, and create equipment and wiring schematics.

  • Understand the logic and operation of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

  • Perform fine electronics soldering and advanced printed circuit board troubleshooting and repair.

  • Install complex equipment and perform machine set-up.

  • Gather, review, and apply dataregardingequipment specifications and customer or company requirements.

  • Interpret customer specifications to confirm operations meet regulatory and quality standards.

  • Develop, troubleshoot, andmodifyelectrical systems in collaboration with engineering and operations.

  • Conduct ongoing equipment inspection, maintenance, and inventories; arrange for disposal of obsolete equipment.

  • Utilize andmodifyadvanced electronic software controls.

  • Maintain and repair motors, drives, and other critical components.

  • Provide technical support and complex problem-solving for engineering teams.

  • Assistwith technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation of total systems.

  • Train operators and fellow technicians on proper equipment use.

  • Create and update procedures and work instructions for equipment, machinery, and instruments.

  • Review and estimate design and operational costs, including equipment, installation, labor, and materials.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on legacy and complex equipment support.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Certification may berequiredfor technical support roles

  • Experience in electronic equipment troubleshooting and repair

  • Experience creating and interpreting schematics and technical documentation.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems knowledge.

  • Expertisein fine soldering and PCB repair.

  • Experience with motors, drives, and advanced electronic software controls.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

The salary range for this role is 66,800 USD - 127,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
