  • Standardization: Design standard input templates and deliverable formats for internal use and vendor collaboration.
  • Validation: Establish and maintain simulation validation protocols to ensure model accuracy and reliability.
  • Vendor Management: Build and manage relationships with external simulation vendors to support project execution.
  • Data Mining & Analytics: Extract actionable business insights from simulation data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Digital Twins: Collaborate with data analysts to integrate data streams and develop digital twin capabilities.
  • Governance: Create and manage a centralized system for all in-house simulation models and assets.
  • Mentorship: Provide expert guidance and training to internal stakeholders on DES best practices.

Qualifications (Must Haves)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in discrete event simulation within a manufacturing environment.
  • Software Pro: Proven expertise using Siemens Plant Simulation software.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Python or SQL for automating data processing and workflows.
  • Academic Foundation: Strong background in applied mathematics, statistics, and computer science.
  • Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain, and production systems.
  • Project Management: Experience managing external vendors and coordinating multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Communication: Ability to translate complex technical results into clear business insights for leadership.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)
