Job Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing & Process Engineer with deep expertise in sheet metal fabrication and welding. This role combines process optimization with manufacturing documentation, focusing on improving production methods, developing SOPs, and supporting the fabrication of custom-engineered gates and water control systems

Key Responsibilitie

s

  • : Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sheet metal and welding processe
  • s.Analyze current manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities to improve cost, quality, safety, and efficienc
  • y.Design and optimize work methods, tools, fixtures, and layouts for sheet metal forming, cutting, and welding operation
  • s.Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of custom metal components and welded assemblie
  • s.Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for fabrication and welding-related production issue
  • s.Support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to drive continuous improvemen
  • t.Assist in selecting, justifying, and commissioning capital equipment for welding and sheet metal fabricatio
  • n.Train production personnel on new SOPs, equipment, and safety procedures specific to welding and fabricatio
  • n.Monitor production metrics and implement data-driven process improvement
  • s.Ensure compliance with internal specifications and industry standards such as AWS D1.1, ASME, AISC, and ISO 900
  • 1.Partner with Quality Assurance to validate and audit fabrication and welding processe
  • s.Support organizational safety programs and ensure adherence to OSHA regulation

  • s: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related fiel
  • d).Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role, with a strong focus on sheet metal and welding operatio
  • ns.Proven experience developing and implementing SOPs for fabrication and weldi
  • ng.Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiar with ERP syste



  • ms.
    Strong understanding of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick), metal forming, and fabrication equipm
  • ent.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodolog
  • ies.Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication ski
  • lls.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, custom-manufacturing environm
