Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in high-volume production looking to take on a role with both technical and business impact?

We’re hiring a Manufacturing Engineer III to support a fast-paced, precision metal manufacturing environment serving the medical device industry.

Full‑time | M-F 8am- 5pm | Durham, CT (Onsite)

Must be authorized to work. US Citizen or Green Card holder

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering and process improvement experience
• Background in high-volume manufacturing environments (required)
• Strong understanding of: Cycle times, scrap rates, and cost drivers

Experience with:

• Progressive stamping (highly preferred)
• CNC machining or metal manufacturing processes
• Experience supporting NPI and process improvement initiatives
• Exposure to or experience with costing/quoting

🚀 What You’ll Do

This is a dual-impact role combining manufacturing engineering and costing:

🏭 Manufacturing / Process Engineering (70%)

• Drive process improvements in high-volume production
• Lead new product introductions (NPI)
• Develop tooling, fixtures, and optimized manufacturing processes
• Identify and solve production issues using root cause analysis
• Apply lean manufacturing to improve efficiency, quality, and cost

💰 Costing / Quoting (30%)

• Review engineering drawings (GD&T)
• Determine manufacturing methods and cost drivers
• Build cost estimates for new business opportunities
• Partner cross-functionally to support new program wins
