We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Planner 3 (Electrical) to support aerospace production programs in Mesa, AZ.
In this role, you will play a critical part in translating engineering designs into executable manufacturing plans, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with aerospace standards.
This position is ideal for professionals with strong experience in electrical manufacturing, engineering drawings, and process planning within aerospace or defense environments.
Key Responsibilities
Review and translate engineering drawings and design changes into detailed manufacturing work instructions
Develop and maintain manufacturing planning to support production requirements
Interpret and apply engineering specifications and process documentation (BDS/BCA or equivalent)
Coordinate engineering changes and ensure seamless integration into manufacturing processes
Support electrical manufacturing activities including wiring, harnesses, avionics, and fabrication
Ensure compliance with production standards, quality requirements, and internal processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
(or equivalent hands-on experience)
3+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, process planning, or production engineering
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Experience developing work instructions and manufacturing plans
Background in electrical manufacturing (wiring, harnesses, avionics, or similar)
Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting aerospace or defense programs such as AH-64 Apache or VC-25B
Knowledge of production systems (BDS/BCA)
Hands-on experience with MESCI (Manufacturing Execution System Common Image)
Experience working across multiple manufacturing sites or large-scale production environments
