Amazon Leo is seeking a Program Manager I to support the OISL Coordination, Supervision and Engineering team. In this role, you will work at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing operations, and program execution — helping coordinate cross-functional activities, track program milestones, and drive resolution of issues across the OISL production and engineering teams.
You will partner closely with engineering leads, manufacturing supervisors, and supply chain stakeholders to ensure program schedules are maintained and risks are surfaced and mitigated early. This is a high-visibility role supporting one of the most technically complex subsystems on the Amazon Leo satellite.
Key job responsibilities
Manage and track program schedules, milestones, and deliverables across OISL engineering and coordination activities
Facilitate cross-functional meetings, drive action item closure, and maintain program status documentation
Identify, escalate, and track risks and issues to resolution; maintain risk registers and mitigation plans
Produce clear and concise program status reports for leadership and stakeholders
Coordinate between OISL engineering, production , and R&D teams to ensure alignment and continuity
Support capacity planning, resource coordination, and operational readiness activities
Partner with manufacturing supervisors to track production metrics and flag schedule impacts
Basic Qualifications- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or distribution industries experience
- 3+ years of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) full time experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- 1+ years of experience managing projects or programs from initiation through delivery
- Ability to produce project status reports, functional specifications, and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- Experience using Microsoft Projects software
- Experience working in an analytical environment with cross-functional teams
- Experience in aerospace, satellite, or hardware manufacturing environments
- Experience with program management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, JIRA, MS Project)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
