About the Company

We serve customers across multiple industries, from commercial furniture to architectural interiors, and we're growing!
The Opportunity
We're looking for a hands-on, people-first Manufacturing Manager to lead our plant floor operations and join our senior leadership team. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to ownership that will drive strategy, accountability, and team development while staying genuinely connected to the work happening on the floor. If you believe great manufacturing starts with great people and solid processes, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Do
- Lead day-to-day production of panels and component parts, ensuring quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery
- Manage and coach a team of supervisors, building accountability and capability at every level
- Implement and refine SOPs, workflows, and training programs
- Oversee machinery maintenance, including working with a dedicated maintenance technician
- Analyze production time, workflow, and material usage to drive continuous improvement
- Monitor order progress and proactively communicate delivery risks
- Partner with the operations and management team on budgets, profitability, and strategic growth
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and champion a culture of safety on the plant floor
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in manufacturing management, demonstrated experience leading people and owning results
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort with industrial equipment (CNC machinery, panel processing, edge banding, or similar is a plus)
- A player-coach mentality - you can't be above getting your hands dirty
- Strong people skills and patience: our tenured employees have high standards and you'll earn their trust by showing up consistently
- Ability to drive accountability without losing the human element
- Basic financial acumen to connect operational decisions to profitability
- Experience in woodworking, cabinetry, or panel/laminate manufacturing is a nice-to-have
A Few Things to Know
- The facility is not climate-controlled so summers are hot, winters are cool, and we want someone who's genuinely okay with that
- You'll be joining a senior management team, representing operations and production at that table
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary with a monthly profit-sharing incentive, when the company wins, you win
- A culture that invests in its people: lunch & learns covering everything from safety to financial wellness to mental health
- Genuine stability: we have employees with decades of tenure
- A leadership team that cares
