Our client, a fast-growing, high-volume manufacturing organization is seeking a Cost Analyst to bridge operations, finance, and advanced data analytics. This role is responsible for transforming production and financial data into actionable insights that enhance efficiency, improve cost visibility, and drive margin performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate labor, materials, and overhead costs to support product costing and profitability analysis
- Monitor and report on labor efficiency, productivity metrics, and operational variances
- Apply cost accounting principles including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation
- Analyze production metrics such as scrap rates, yield, and throughput performance
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational financial planning
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and finance to improve performance visibility
- Develop and maintain complex data models using advanced Excel tools
- Build intuitive dashboards and reports using business intelligence platforms
- Automate data workflows, reporting processes, and data cleansing activities
- Translate complex datasets into clear, decision-ready insights for both operational teams and leadership
- Apply industrial engineering concepts to evaluate capacity, labor optimization, and process flow
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Analytics, Business, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing analytics, operations finance, or industrial engineering
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong understanding of cost structures and operational processes within manufacturing
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and business intelligence tools
- Experience working with ERP systems and structured data environments
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills
