Pay Rate: 48/hr. on W2 (Negotiable)

Job Overview: In this on-site role, the Finance Analyst provides Financial/Accounting support for the business, specifically Infection Prevention Manufacturing Plant in. This includes providing financial support and leadership to Finance and Operations leaders, playing a key role in establishing and achieving financial objectives and formulating and executing operations strategies. The position plays a critical role in managing manufacturing cost performance and driving continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead month-end activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial results.
- Ensure accurate account reconciliations and financial integrity within SAP.
- Perform detailed costing analysis, including standard cost, review, and maintenance.
- Support recurring financial reports, summarizing in a timely manner, identifying key drivers, and working with cross-departmental teams to lead change through KPI management.
- Support annual budget and rolling forecast process, integrating operational and cost assumptions. Monitor performance on a weekly & monthly basis vs latest projection cycle and annual budget.
- Support internal and external SOX Audits.
- Drives continuous financial improvement through preparation/review of business cases, inventory analysis, new product and discontinuance analysis, and spending analysis.
- Ensures that financial reports and records are prepared in compliance with US GAAP and BD financial policies.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required
Education & Experience
- Requires 2+ years of relevant progressive accounting / finance experience in a manufacturing environment. Manufacturing operations, product costing, manufacturing variances and inventory control, financial analysis, and budgeting & forecasting experience preferred
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUPS, etc.)
- ERP experience is necessary; specifically, SAP experience is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well with management of all levels and disciplines.
- Knowledge of corporate accounting policies and procedures.
- Self-driven, proactive and seeks continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed, challenging environment with strong attention to detail.
