Job Purpose:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for the financial health and operational efficiency 

of Sukup Manufacturing Co. and its subsidiaries. As a member of the company’s Executive Team, the 

CFO will play a critical role in shaping and executing the financial strategy, optimizing performance, 

and supporting the company's long-term financial goals. The ideal candidate has extensive 

experience in financial management and is skilled in overseeing multi-entity operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure timely, accurate financial statements and compliance with GAAP and all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and multi‑year financial plans, including capital expenditure planning.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team.
  • Lead cash flow management, banking relationships, and financing strategies to support ongoing operations and growth.
  • Partner with operations to evaluate plant performance, cost structure, pricing, and margin improvement opportunities in a manufacturing environment.
  • Oversee internal controls, risk management, and audit processes to safeguard company assets.
  • Direct and develop the finance and accounting team, building capabilities to support a growing organization.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as M&A, major capital projects, and expansion opportunities through financial modeling and due diligence.
  • Present financial results and key metrics to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders as needed.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or Master’s 
  • degree preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, including multi-subsidiary or multi-entity experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic financial planning, financial reporting, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, fostering a results-oriented and collaborative environment.
