Chief Operating Officer | Role Summary

RevMedica is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to own execution across manufacturing, supply chain, quality systems, and product lifecycle management as we transition from FDA submission and limited market release into commercial scale.

This leader is responsible for ensuring products are built, controlled, delivered, serviced, and supported in a disciplined, compliant, and scalable manner. The Director of Operations will translate engineering output into reliable product flow and ensure operational systems are robust enough to support commercialization.

This is an execution-focused role accountable for operational performance — not financial strategy or commercial contracting.

Quality & Regulatory Execution

  • Maintain and operationalize the Quality Management System in partnership with Quality leadership.
  • Ensure manufacturing, service, and logistics activities remain audit-ready.
  • Embed design transfer rigor from Engineering into production.
  • Ensure traceability, documentation, and compliance across product lifecycle stages.

Manufacturing & Supply Chain

  • Oversee manufacturing execution and supplier performance.
  • Manage supplier relationships, capacity planning, and performance metrics.
  • Establish and enforce inventory controls, traceability, and material flow discipline.
  • Ensure product availability supports clinical and commercial needs.

Fulfillment, Logistics & 3PL Execution

  • Oversee operational relationship with 3PL providers.
  • Ensure accurate, on-time order fulfillment and returns processing.
  • Implement physical inventory controls and cycle count processes.
  • Manage field inventory, consignment, and replenishment structures (if applicable).

Service, Returns & Refurbishment

  • Define and manage product return, inspection, refurbishment, and re-release processes.
  • Ensure service documentation meets regulatory requirements.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for field issues.

Operational Performance Management

  • Establish operating metrics across manufacturing, fulfillment, service, and supplier performance.
  • Surface risks early and implement corrective measures.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering and Commercial to align production with demand.

What Success Looks Like

  • Predictable, audit-ready manufacturing operations.
  • Reliable supplier performance and product availability.
  • Controlled inventory aligned with demand.
  • Seamless operational support for commercialization.
  • Scalable infrastructure without unnecessary bureaucracy.

Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years in medical device operations, manufacturing, or supply chain leadership.
  • Strong understanding of regulated production environments.
  • Experience scaling operations from pre-commercial to early revenue.
  • Proven ability to build disciplined processes and execution cadence.
  • Clear cross-functional communicator.
