Maintenance Supervisor

MUST HAVES :

• 2+ years of experience as a hands-on maintenance supervisor in a commercial or residential environment (facilities maintenance applicable as well)
• HVAC Certification(s) (universal EPA or 608 certs are preferred)
• Experience managing, leading, or supervising a maintenance team

Plusses:

Pool maintenance experience

CPO cert (Certified Pool Operator)

Job Description:

One of Insight Global's top property management companies is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead the upkeep and functionality of Apartment complex. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, especially with HVAC systems, and who can seamlessly coordinate with vendors and communicate clearly across teams. This person will have 2 maintenance technicians reporting to them and the property has 282 units.

Key Responsibilities:

Hands-On Maintenance:

-Perform minor repairs and routine upkeep when units are being turned

-Take lead on HVAC troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair

-Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and compliance

Vendor Coordination:

-Source, schedule, and oversee third-party contractors and service providers

-Ensure quality control and timely completion of outsourced work

-Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate service agreements

Operational Efficiency:

-Provide clear updates to property managers and residents regarding work status

-Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment
