Maintenance Planner
Location: Savannah, GA

Pay Range: $38.09 – $57.13 per hour with benefits

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to support maintenance operations in an aviation or technical service environment. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure work scopes are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in aviation maintenance planning, resource coordination, and regulatory compliance, along with the ability to collaborate across operations, quality, and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate maintenance work scopes to ensure timely and efficient completion
- Develop and maintain daily and weekly maintenance schedules
- Identify required personnel, tools, and materials for maintenance activities
- Monitor job progress and provide updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate problem resolution to minimize downtime and maintain service levels
- Prepare job quotes and support invoicing processes upon job completion
- Schedule technicians based on skill level and certification requirements
- Coordinate with Operations, Quality, and Purchasing teams to support job completion
- Track parts, tools, and equipment shipments to job sites
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards
- Maintain accurate maintenance and scheduling documentation
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and 5+ years of aviation propulsion maintenance experience in a regulated repair station environment
- OR
- Associate degree and 4+ years of aviation propulsion maintenance experience in a regulated repair station environment
- FAA Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) License
- Experience working in aviation maintenance operations
- Strong planning, scheduling, and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a regulated and safety-focused environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hangar or maintenance operations management
- Experience using enterprise systems such as SAP
- Business aviation engine maintenance experience
- Experience coordinating maintenance teams and resources
