Profitable, leading machining manufacturer with a diverse business mix is hiring a Machining Process Engineer - NPI to join their new model engineering team. The Machining Process Engineer - NPI will work with a team of engineers and will report to an engineering manager to support machining and other processes. Responsibilities will include:
This is a hands-on role that requires qualified candidates to be on the manufacturing floor up to 50% of their day, communicating with the production staff and working as a team to effectively launch new products into production. This site offers the opportunity to work with cutting edge equipment and robotics. Candidates should enjoy working in a team environment, be able to lead projects independently, and support a team-oriented environment.

REQUIREMENTS for the Machining Process Engineer - NPI:
1. Minimum of a high school diploma with at least ten years of similar engineering experience OR a Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of similar engineering experience
2. Experience working in CNC machining environments
3. Experience creating, improving and/or troubleshooting machining engineering processes
4. Experience overseeing project timelines
5. Microsoft Office
Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. Automated work environments, including robotics
2. 2D and/or 3D modeling experience
3. Statistical Process Control (SPC)
4. New product launch
5. GD&T
