Our client is the industry-leading manufacturer of high-quality, precast concrete solutions for the utility, transportation, and construction industries. They design and produce a wide range of engineered construction components, from utility access structures to modular infrastructure elements and custom-built systems. Collaboration and continuous improvement are central to how they work with their customers.

Our client is looking for a driven and detail-focused professional to oversee logistics coordination and dispatch operations. This position works closely with internal teams and transportation partners to manage delivery schedules and ensure products arrive at project locations on time. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a dynamic environment, communicates clearly, and brings hands-on experience with scheduling, fleet coordination, and construction-related logistics.

  • Oversee daily logistics coordination, dispatching activities, and transportation operations
  • Develop, track, and maintain delivery schedules and operational reports using spreadsheet-based tools
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal teams, drivers, and third-party partners
  • Plan and optimize delivery routes and load configurations to improve efficiency and cost control
  • Address schedule changes, conflicts, and urgent delivery needs as they arise
  • Review project documentation to confirm delivery timing, quantities, and site requirements
  • Ensure logistical records and supporting documentation are accurate and up to date



MUST:

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics project management
  • Material hauling experience (i.e. construction background or trucking/dispatch, logistics for an engineering firm, working for a broker (not ideal but possible) , working for material supplier that’s doing the deliveries, etc.)
  • Understanding of trucks and trailers (they ship soundwall which goes on specialty a-frame trailers, understands what gets put on trailers)
  • Excel experience- knows at/sum’s, v look ups
  • Experience with scheduling and manipulating schedule
  • Self starter
  • Great personality+ has People management/leadership skills
  • Experience working in a high volume and fast paced environment + Job site specific deliveries, highly demanding scheduled deliveries
