The Role

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented paralegal to join our litigation team. You will work directly alongside our attorneys on active cases from intake through trial.  We value paralegal professionals who think like advocates – people who understand the story of a case, anticipate what is needed, and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Draft, proofread, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
• Manage and organize case files, litigation calendars, deadlines, and state and federal court filings
• Coordinate and assist with written discovery – propound, respond, and track meet-and-confer obligations
• Prepare depositions materials and assist with trial, organize exhibits, and coordinate witnesses
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and experts

Ideal Candidate

• Two-plus years of civil litigation paralegal experience
• Proficiency with California state court and federal court procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and deadlines
