Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all phases of matrimonial litigation-from initial filings to resolution by settlement or trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and trial briefs.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Appear regularly in New York Supreme and Family Courts.
• Manage witness preparation and all stages of discovery.
• Maintain high-touch client communication throughout the lifecycle of each matter.
• Handle complex, sensitive cases with discretion and strategic judgment.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in New York.
• 3-5 years of hands-on matrimonial litigation experience is required.
• Demonstrated courtroom, deposition, and client-handling skills.
• Prior experience managing cases independently from intake through trial or settlement.
• Strong legal writing, research, and interpersonal skills.
