Litigation Associate (4–6 Years) – Healthcare/Commercial Focus

Butler Tibbetts
Southport, CT

Butler Tibbetts seeks an experienced litigation associate (4–6 years) to join its growing practice at the firm’s Southport, CT office. The position focuses on commercial litigation with an emphasis on healthcare, managed care, and ERISA matters. However, associates have the opportunity to contribute across the firm’s broader caseload, which may include corporate formation, civil litigation, family law, probate, and other matters, providing meaningful exposure to a diverse range of practice areas. The firm is looking for an attorney who is not simply seeking a next step, but a long-term professional home; someone who wants to grow with the firm, take on increasing responsibility over time, and play a meaningful role in its future.

Associates at Butler Tibbetts are integrated into the firm’s work from the outset, collaborating directly with partners on complex matters and gaining the kind of substantive, hands-on experience that accelerates both legal development and professional growth. The firm actively supports and mentors associates in cultivating their own client relationships and building a practice within the firm, providing the encouragement and institutional support necessary to develop a lasting book of business.
