A national litigation firm headquartered in Chicago is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Chicago office, sitting within a complex insurance defense litigation practice.

This is a substantive litigation position with genuine early-career responsibility. You will work directly under a senior partner on complex insurance defense matters, managing files across the full litigation lifecycle from case strategy and pleadings through discovery, dispositive motions, and trial.

The firm is litigation focused and trial active. Associates are expected to develop courtroom skills early.

What They're Looking For

• 2–5 years of litigation experience, ideally with some insurance defense or coverage exposure
• Illinois bar admission required
• Strong research and writing skills
• Commercial instincts and an ability to think about cases from a business perspective, not just a legal one
