We're Recruiting for a Litigation Associate in Houston, TX (Hybrid - 1-2 days in office) with significant litigation experience in the areas of health law, premises defense, and employment litigation to join a growing Houston office. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of litigation experience and will provide thoughtful and focused advocacy and have successfully defended clients at each stage of the litigation process.
The below qualifications are required:
- Juris Doctorate degree from accredited law school and in good standing
- Admission to Texas state bar and in good standing
- Significant litigation experience (7+ years), including first chair experience
- Experience in the areas of health law - premises defense and employment litigation a plus
- Strong legal writing skills
- Ability to interface directly with clients
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organization skills
- Ability to work collaboratively on a team
- Outstanding judgment
