Legal Counsel (Real Estate Finance & Commercial Transactions)

Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially minded legal professional to support a fast-paced real estate finance business. The role partners closely with legal leadership and business teams on a wide range of transactional, financing, and operational legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (financing, leases, service contracts, NDAs, employment agreements)
• Support origination and servicing of real estate finance products
• Assist with structured finance transactions, including securitizations and CLO closings
• Support capital markets activity, including trade confirmations with counterparties
• Advise on loan documentation, borrower communications, defaults, and entity structures
• Assist with warehouse and repurchase agreement negotiations

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 3–6 years of experience in corporate, real estate, investment, or finance law
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Comfortable handling multiple legal disciplines
