Lease Administrator for Sunny Isles Beach Shopping Center Developer 


Responsibilities include:

  • Review and analyze shopping center leases
  • Assist in drafting of leases, amendments, default notices, estoppels, secretary of state filings, and tenant correspondence
  • Basic lease accounting duties
  • Prepare detailed abstracts of new leases
  • Maintain tenant database
  • Collectively work with colleagues to manage tenant portfolio, including rent payments, collections, etc.
  • Manage, review, and communicate with various departments regarding critical dates and lease issues
  • Monitor and track lease documents and associated tenant coordination tasks
  • Heavy interaction with tenants and attorneys, as well as serving as liaison between legal, accounting, and all other departments.


Requisite job skills include at least 4 years of experience in lease administration, lease analysis, and compliance.


  • Demonstrate good knowledge of commercial lease language and interpretation
  • Good analytical mind, ability to analyze and interpret complex lease clauses.
  • Understanding of the CAM / Operating Expense process
  • The ability to efficiently prioritize while handling multiple projects.
  • General computer skills (proficient in both Word and Excel).
  • Excellent communication skills (writing skills to be highly considered).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-starter, and able to work independently and as a good team
  • player.


Ideally, the candidate would have experience working for a major retailer or a development company
