Job Title: Maintenance Team Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to lead a team of 8–10 maintenance technicians in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role demands strong electrical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and coordinate a team of 8–10 maintenance technicians.
• Ensure safe and efficient maintenance of electrical systems up to 480V.
• Oversee work on 400-amp cabinets, transfer switches, and Pick system robots.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair material handling equipment, including conveyors, sortation systems, and automated warehouse equipment.
• Support PLC‑controlled systems used in automated distribution or warehouse environments.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting, including low‑voltage wiring, testing, and repairs.
• Use multimeters and other diagnostic tools to test circuits, sensors, and components.
• Assist with controls and automation troubleshooting, including identifying faults in PLC‑based systems.
• Perform facilities maintenance as needed, including work on dock doors, fire systems, HVAC, and building equipment.
• Support preventive maintenance (PM) programs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills

• Strong expertise in automation, troubleshooting, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLC programming.
• Experience in maintenance management and supervision.
• Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Leadership skills to manage a team of 8–10 maintenance technicians.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Military experience, bringing discipline and structured problem-solving skills.
• Prior supervisory experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

You will be working in a distribution center environment. The schedule for this position is Sunday through Thursday, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Whitestown, IN.

The pay range for this position is $86000.00 - $93000.00/yr.
