Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician

Job Description

As a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician , you will lead service technicians on the team in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects. You will help train and mentor service technicians and oversee contracted maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for complex problems.
• Manage and oversee projects related to maintenance and equipment repair.
• Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Implement and manage preventive maintenance procedures.
• Supervise maintenance operations and ensure adherence to safety standards.

Essential Skills

• Experience in repairing and maintaining Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Pneumatic Systems.
• Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
• Knowledge in risk management, sorters, robotics, conveyor systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Experience in conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Experience in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment.
• Demonstrated adherence to safety standards.

Work Environment

You will be required to move up to 49lbs and stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation. The work environment necessitates a flexible schedule, accommodating various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

This is a Permanent position based out of Erlanger, KY.

The pay range for this position is $89440.00 - $120000.00/yr.
