Full job description

We are a family law firm seeking a professional, organized, and dependable administrator to manage tasks including those of a receptionist and e-filing clerk to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment. The role involves front-desk responsibilities, office management, and substantial administrative and e-filing support for attorneys and staff.


Responsibilities

  • Greet clients, visitors, and vendors and maintain a professional reception area.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming calls.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment needs, and vendor coordination.
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
  • Assist in preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents.
  • Perform electronic court filings in state and federal courts and track filing confirmations and deadlines.
  • Coordinate service of process, handle mail, and manage deliveries.
  • Schedule meetings, depositions, and conference room use.
  • Support attorneys and paralegals with administrative tasks and special projects.
  • Ensure overall smooth day-to-day office operations.

Qualifications

  • Prior law office experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and PDF editing tools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $50k-90k base. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
