Akkodis is currently seeking an experienced and driven Land Development Project Manager for an onsite opportunity in Dallas, McKinney, Frisco, or Fort Worth, Texas. This role offers the chance to work with one of the leading clients in the United States and contribute to impactful civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing the design, planning, and coordination of projects for Special Districts, including Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs), Levee Improvement Districts, and Drainage Districts. Success in this position requires strong project leadership, sound technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and regulatory agencies.
Position: Land Development Project Manager
Location: Dallas, McKinney, Frisco, or Fort Worth, Texas
Salary Range: $90- $130K/Annum (Salary may be negotiable based upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)
Responsibilities:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of EITs, designers, and CAD technicians in the preparation of construction plans, exhibits, technical reports, and other project documentation for residential and commercial developments.
- Manage day-to-day project execution and delivery for single-family residential and commercial land development projects.
- Utilize advanced engineering principles, methodologies, and industry best practices to address complex design challenges.
- Direct the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale engineering projects, as well as multiple concurrent projects with complex requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring effective communication and coordination with external consultants and stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
- Build and maintain strong client partnerships while ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards, budgets, and schedules.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of post-graduate civil engineering experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client and internal relationships.
- Experience serving as District Engineer for Special Districts such as MUDs, Levee Improvement Districts, or Drainage Districts.
- Experience coordinating and managing multidisciplinary project teams.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas.
