Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a hardworking, self-motivated laboratory technician at our Miami, FL location. This is a full-time position (Monday – Friday).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: performing semen cryopreservation procedures, preparing semen samples for inseminations on-site, distributing samples to clinics and patients, interacting with donors and patients, and other administrative duties. This is an FDA-regulated commercial sperm bank and clinic where attention to detail is critical. A sense of humor, computer skills, strong work ethic, excellent command of written and spoken English, ability to follow written instructions, and a willingness to learn are mandatory. Training will be provided. This is a great foundation for a career in reproductive health and infertility.

Requirements:

• Must have a B.S. in biology or related science
• A minimum of 1 year of laboratory bench experience is preferred
• Experience in a fertility-related environment would be advantageous
• Phlebotomy-certified and/or Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs. as part of daily duties and work well in a team environment

Technicians will receive a bonus when they complete their training interview and a retention bonus on their first and second anniversary dates, after which they will be eligible for quarterly performance bonuses.
