Investment Management - Operations Analyst

ProspectBlue’s client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven professional to join their team as an Investment Operations Analyst. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in accounting, transaction advisory, audit, corporate finance, or investment operations who are looking to apply their skillset in a dynamic investment environment.
You’ll play a key role supporting investment operations, portfolio reporting, and data-driven decision-making across a diversified investment platform. This position offers strong exposure to both operational and analytical aspects of investing.
What You’ll Do:
Investment Operations & Reporting
- Support capital activity, including cash movements, investment funding, and distributions
- Maintain accurate investment records, valuations, and supporting documentation
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., fund managers, administrators) to ensure smooth execution of operational processes
- Assist with portfolio reporting, cash flow forecasting, and consolidated reporting efforts
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency
Portfolio Analysis & Monitoring
- Track investment performance and assist in preparing performance and exposure reports
- Support periodic reporting for internal stakeholders and leadership
- Contribute to performance analysis and portfolio insights
Pipeline Tracking & Investment Support
- Maintain internal systems to track investment opportunities and decisions
- Assist with research, data gathering, and due diligence processes
- Help prepare summaries, reports, and presentation materials for internal review
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 1–4+ years of relevant experience (e.g., public accounting, Big 4, transaction advisory, corporate finance, fund administration, or similar)
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in financial markets, investing, and business operations
Preferred:
- Experience working with financial statements, reporting, or investment data
- Exposure to investment management, private equity, or transaction environments
- Familiarity with financial systems, CRMs, or reporting tools
