Investment Funds Associate

A leading global law firm is seeking a mid-to-senior level associate for its Investment Funds group in Chicago.

The practice advises sponsors, institutional investors, REITs, and real estate-focused investment platforms on a wide range of sophisticated transactional and investment management matters.

Representative work includes:

• Private investment fund formation and structuring
• Real estate investment and joint venture transactions
• Structured securities offerings and capital markets matters
• REIT-related transactions and governance matters
• Complex financings, acquisitions, and dispositions involving institutional assets

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Class Year 2018–2020
• Excellent academic credentials
• Experience with investment funds, real estate funds, REITs, or related transactional matters
• Strong drafting, analytical, and transaction management skills
• Peer firm experience preferred
• Currently practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm preferred
