Position: Inventory Specialist

Location: Tampa, FL 33624 - onsite

Duration: 6-month contract to direct-hire

Pay rate: $16 - $20/hr (based on experience)

Job Description & Day-to Day:

A client of Insight Global is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join their team in Tampa, FL. This individual will support daily inventory, shipping, and quality control operations to ensure accuracy, organization, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

• Perform secondary quality checks on repaired and tested parts
• Assist with system testing validation as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Manage finished goods, including put-away and internal transport
• Accurately and efficiently pick orders to meet operational timelines
• Conduct physical inventory cycle counts on a scheduled and as-needed basis
• Assist with part photography, packaging, and proper labeling
• Handle shipping and receiving processes, including parcel and freight
• Organize and help maintain inventory, materials, and supplies
• Provide after-hours shipping support when required

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
