QA Specialist, Carlsbad, CA (Contract role to start ASAP), $30–33/hr
Are you a detail-oriented QA professional who enjoys working hands-on in a regulated environment? Join an innovative biotech organization where your work directly supports GLP compliance, data integrity, and high-quality research operations. This is a fully on-site role, five days per week, based in Carlsbad, CA.
Who you are:
- 1+ year of Quality Assurance or document control experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a regulated environment with electronic Quality Management Systems (e.g., eQCM)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, on-site laboratory and office setting
- BS or AS degree is preferred, not required.
What you’ll do:
- Process change orders, deviations, and SOP updates through eQCM in accordance with GLP principles
- Review study data, forms, reports, and controlled documents for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
- Manage inventory, labeling, packaging, and archiving of samples, specimens, slides, and paper data
- Scan, upload, track, and organize raw data and correspondence within the electronic document management system
What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education.
The expected range for this role is $30–$33 per hour. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
