Overview
Supports Contracting Officer’s Representatives (COTRs) and development teams by refining requirements, system designs, and test capabilities to meet mission needs. Applies Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools to improve system lifecycle outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine system requirements, architectures, and design artifacts
- Apply MBSE methodologies to system development and lifecycle management
- Collaborate with COTRs, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with mission needs
- Support integration, testing, and validation of system capabilities
- Contribute to architecture frameworks and modeling strategies
Required Qualifications
- Experience with MBSE methodologies, tools, and frameworks (DoDAF, SysML, UAF)
- Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle processes
- Experience translating mission needs into technical requirements
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
Desired Qualifications
- OCSMP Level 2 (Model Builder Fundamental) or higher
- Experience with DoD architecture development and documentation
- Hands-on experience with MBSE modeling tools
