Role Description

The role of the Intake Coordinator is a part-time, on-site position located in Newark, OH. Responsibilities include managing incoming referrals, verifying patient eligibility and insurance coverage, coordinating with healthcare providers, and maintaining accurate patient records. The Intake Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for patients, families, and staff, ensuring a seamless intake process and high-quality service delivery.


Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent Customer Service
  • Experience in Case Management and familiarity with Medical Terminology
  • Knowledge of Insurance processes and related documentation requirements
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in using relevant office and healthcare management software
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or home health setting is a plus
  • LPN minimum required; additional certification in healthcare-related fields is advantageous
