This organization supports a large network of providers and clinics, offering advanced resources and technology to deliver high-quality patient care.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking detail-oriented professionals to support insurance verification processes for high-volume specialty treatments. This role focuses on confirming coverage, securing authorizations, and ensuring accurate documentation to support timely billing and reimbursement. It’s a fast-paced position ideal for candidates who thrive in high-volume environments and have a strong understanding of payer guidelines.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in insurance verification within a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with both commercial and government payers (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid)
• Experience working within payer portals to confirm eligibility and benefits
• Preferred experience with NextGen EMR
• Ability to clearly explain patient financial responsibilities, including copays, coinsurance, and deductibles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high workload

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits for ongoing specialty treatments
• Obtain prior authorizations and referrals as required by payers
• Accurately document insurance details and updates within the EMR system
• Communicate coverage details and out-of-pocket costs to patients
• Process a high daily volume of verifications (100+ accounts per day)
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and support revenue cycle operations
