Authorizations Clerk (Administrative)
We’re looking for an experienced Authorizations Specialist to join on a contract with strong potential for extension and eventual conversion. If you have hands-on experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations, this is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting supporting critical patient services.
What You’ll Do:
Process and manage prior authorization requests with insurance providers
Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations
Communicate with providers, patients, and insurance companies regarding authorization status
Maintain detailed and organized records of all authorization activities
Follow up on pending authorizations to prevent delays in care
Support administrative functions within the department as needed
What You Bring:
1+ year of experience in insurance verification and prior authorizations
Strong understanding of healthcare insurance processes
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset

💵 Pay: $28–$30/hour
