Position Summary
The Project Manager position is responsible for overseeing and managing technology-related projects from initiation to completion. This includes defining project scope, setting timelines, coordinating resources, and ensuring successful delivery within budget and on schedule. The IT Project Manager will work closely with various business units, stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver IT solutions that meet organizational needs, improve processes, and contribute to the company’s overall strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day interactions of multiple or large-scale projects with internal team members, clients, and vendors
- Manage projects to a defined scope of work and implement scope management procedures when required
- Minimize exposure and risk across multiple projects
- Manage project budgets
- Manage project schedules
- Activity and resourcing management
- Review and present high-level deliverables across projects
- Focus on customer satisfaction and build client relationships
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience with technical implementations for customer-facing engagements
- PMP certification preferred
- Recent program and project management experience leading VoIP, Data Center, Route & Switch, Wireless, and Security projects
- Previous MSP/VAR experience preferred
- Proficiency with project management software
- Must be able to work independently, be a self-starter, and be tech-savvy
- Proven experience with people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management
- Ability to aggressively track to project timelines
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
- Strong team skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on the computer.
- Occasional liftin pushing, pulling up to 15 lbs.
- Hybrid position: in-office and remote workdays.
