Information Technology Project Manager

My client is actively seeking a IT Project Manager to support their growing team based in Buffalo Grove, IL

This opportunity is hybrid 2-3 days per week onsite in Buffalo Grove.

Project / Day-to-Day

This role will manage enterprise-scale technical initiatives focused on middleware, integrations, and platform services.

Day-to-day activities include:

• End-to-end ownership of multiple concurrent projects from initiation through delivery
• Managing delivery across Waterfall and SAFe Agile environments
• Coordinating work across platform teams supporting Kafka, Kong, IBM IIB, APIs, and middle services
• Leading PI Planning, sprint planning, release trains, backlog grooming, sprint demos, and retrospectives
• Driving timelines, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies
• Partnering with architects, engineering leads, product owners, and business stakeholders
• Ensuring deliverables align with release schedules and enterprise standards
• Tracking program health, KPIs, risks, scope changes, and financials
• Providing clear, executive-ready status reporting and dashboards
• This is a hands-on delivery PM role, not operational-only or coordinator-level.
