Hiring Now: IT Operations Specialist (Data Center)

Shift: Day Shift

Location- Plano, TX

Schedule: 40 hrs/week (Mon–Fri)

Duration: 12-Month Contract (Extension Possible)

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Manage shipping & receiving of IT hardware and equipment
• Perform equipment installation, racking, cabling, and decommissioning
• Maintain accurate inventory and asset tracking systems
• Inspect deliveries and handle RMA (returns) processes
• Support rack layout updates and documentation
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and organization of equipment
• Monitor and maintain data center cleanliness and compliance standards
• Identify and escalate hardware or operational issues
• Collaborate with vendors, technical teams, and project stakeholders
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance requirements

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure
• Strong understanding of:
• Servers, storage systems, and hardware components
• Structured cabling and rack configurations
• Experience with shipping/receiving and inventory management
• Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize, and escalate issues effectively
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite environment
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal in English)

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments
• Exposure to healthcare or regulated industry IT systems
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
