HVAC Technician Helper

Join our team as an HVAC Technician Helper, where you will support technicians by assisting in setting up and staging heating equipment on construction sites. Your role will involve preparing ducts and gas lines for connection by technicians, as well as helping build manifolds. You will also support service technicians in the delivery of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians in setting up and staging heating equipment on construction sites.
• Prepare and set up ducts and gas lines for connection.
• Assist in building manifolds.
• Support service technicians in delivering equipment.
• Utilize hand tools for various tasks.

• Mechanical aptitude and general labor skills.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and HVAC electrical components.
• At least 1 year of HVAC experience or equivalent school experience.

• CFC license is preferred.
• Experience in maintaining equipment.
• Experience in a service-related role with customer interaction.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Basic math skills.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Work Environment

Work both in the shop and on the road, riding with technicians. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM or 4 PM, with some after-hours and weekend work required during peak times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Manassas, VA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Manassas,VA.
