About the Role
We’re partnering with a growing manufacturing organization looking to bring on a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations for a multi-site workforce. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving HR strategy while staying close to day-to-day execution across employee relations, compliance, and talent initiatives.
You’ll act as the primary HR contact for leadership and play a key role in building processes, supporting managers, and improving the overall employee experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as the main HR partner to site leadership, providing guidance on employee relations, workforce planning, and performance management
- Lead day-to-day HR operations including employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting efforts across hourly and salaried roles
- Manage onboarding, training, and employee development programs
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including alignment with market trends
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
- Drive performance management processes, including reviews, coaching, and corrective action
- Analyze HR data (turnover, engagement, performance) to inform business decisions
- Maintain HRIS systems and ensure accuracy of employee records and reporting
- Partner with leadership to improve culture, retention, and engagement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, including prior HR leadership or standalone site support
- Strong employee relations background (this is not just a recruiting role)
- Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or other blue-collar environments preferred
- Working knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices
- Experience with HRIS systems and reporting tools
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP) are a plus
Why This Role
- High visibility—direct interaction with leadership
- Opportunity to build and improve HR processes (not just maintain them)
- Stable company with strong growth trajectory
