Human Resources Manager

Salary: $90k-$110k + 15% bonus
Position Overview
A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions for a plant operation in Altus, OK. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership while overseeing day-to-day HR operations including employee relations, recruiting, training, payroll, compliance, benefits administration, and employee engagement.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all plant-level Human Resources functions
- Partner with leadership team on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
- Support leadership development, coaching, and training programs
- Oversee payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate compensation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and employment regulations
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and HRIS systems
- Drive change management initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts
- Promote a positive workplace culture and collaborative team environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in employee relations and plant support
- Experience partnering with operational leadership teams
- Knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and HR best practices
- Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- PHR or SHRM certification preferred
- Master’s degree is a plus
