Position Summary

The HRIS Analyst I supports Payroll and Benefits operations through reporting, data analysis, and system support. This role is responsible for creating and analyzing reports, ensuring data accuracy, following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applying analytical thinking to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor. This individual will help drive operational efficiency while supporting a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, run, maintain, and distribute recurring and ad-hoc HRIS, Payroll, and Benefits reports.
• Analyze reports and data to identify trends, discrepancies, compliance risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Apply analytical and critical-thinking skills to support troubleshooting, decision-making, and process optimization.
• Consistently follow Payroll and Benefits Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support Payroll and Benefits teams with system-related questions, audits, and data validation.
• Provide professional and timely customer service to employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries.
• Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance within HRIS systems.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and business leaders on reporting and system initiatives.
• Assist in identifying process improvements and proactively address potential issues before they escalate.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting procedures, and process workflows.
• Support audits, compliance requests, and reporting requirements as needed.
• Handle sensitive employee information with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience working with HRIS systems such as ADP Workforce Now or Workday.
• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience analyzing HR, Payroll, or Benefits data and generating reports.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a reliable and professional team player.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
• Calm, steady, and solution-focused under pressure.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude with a continuous learning mindset.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
