Summary of Position:
Provide payroll and administrative support to the Human Resources team, with primary responsibility for payroll processing, benefits administration, and recruiting support.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage bi-weekly, multi-state payroll processing, including reviewing and calculating employee timecards, entering employee data and pay information, and verifying accuracy before submission to the payroll processor.
• Coordinate updates and changes within payroll and HRIS systems.
• Support recruiting efforts for all non-exempt and temporary positions.
• Oversee new hire onboarding, including E-Verify completion and orientation.
• Maintain employee records and benefits documentation.
• Administer benefit enrollments, updates, and terminations with accuracy and within required timelines.
• Assist with annual open enrollment activities.
• Review and process monthly benefit invoices.
• Address employee questions related to benefits, policies, and HR programs.
• Maintain working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations.
• Provide support with workers’ compensation and disability claims.
• Respond to unemployment claims and related documentation.
• Participate in safety committee initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, HR certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least three years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
• Spanish language skills preferred.
• Experience with Paycom is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, payroll systems, and reporting tools.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit for extended periods, with occasional bending, lifting, and walking between departments.
• Exposure to ink-related odors in the work environment.
• Availability to work additional hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
