Position Overview:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations across multiple functions, including recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and benefits administration. This role partners with leadership to foster a positive work environment and ensures HR processes are executed effectively and in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer processes.
- Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires.
- Serve as a resource for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
- Maintain employee records and HRIS data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with benefits administration and respond to employee questions regarding programs and eligibility.
- Support payroll processing and employee status changes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with employee relations investigations and conflict resolution.
- Partner with leadership on HR initiatives, training, and employee engagement efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
- 2–5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
