We’re seeking an HR Generalist to join our team in a broad, hands-on role supporting the full spectrum of HR. This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable diving into data and reports as they are supporting recruitment, partnering with business leaders, and keeping day-to-day HR running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities

HR Reporting:

  • Own the preparation and distribution of regular HR reports and dashboards for leadership, covering headcount, attrition, hiring, and other key workforce metrics
  • Translate HR data into meaningful insights and trends to support strategic workforce planning and decision-making
  • Maintain data integrity across HR systems, ensuring accuracy of employee records and reporting inputs

Recruitment:

  • Support end-to-end recruitment as needed, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and offer administration
  • Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking
  • Manage and maintain the ATS, ensuring data accuracy and a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to leadership on pipeline status and time-to-fill

HR Business Partner Support:

  • Provide day-to-day HRBP support to assigned business units on an as-needed basis, including employee relations guidance, performance management, and general HR advisory
  • Support performance review cycles by tracking completion, sending reminders, and compiling documentation
  • Conduct exit interviews, identify patterns, and provide retention insights to HR leadership

Attendance Tracking:

  • Administer and monitor employee attendance, leave, and time-off records in accordance with company policy
  • Identify and flag attendance trends or anomalies to HR leadership, partnering to address patterns proactively
  • Administer and maintain leave of absence records, ensuring continuity and compliance

HRIS Management:

  • Serve as an administrator and point of contact for the HRIS platform, maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee data
  • Process employee lifecycle changes (new hires, transfers, promotions, separations) within the HRIS in a timely and accurate manner
  • Identify opportunities to optimize HRIS utilization and partner with vendors or internal stakeholders on system enhancements

Payroll Support:

  • Assist with payroll processing on a periodic basis, including review of timekeeping data, input of payroll changes, and resolution of discrepancies


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of broad HR experience spanning multiple HR functions
  • Hybrid work schedule, must be willing to come into our downtown Houston office
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or start-up environment
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (Deel and ADP preferred) and strong proficiency in maintaining system data
  • Familiarity with payroll processes and the ability to support payroll administration as needed
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build and interpret HR reports and dashboards
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and HR technology platforms
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is a plus
